There are some places that stay with you long after you leave them. For us, Zanzibar became one of those places. Maybe it is the stillness of the ocean, maybe it is the slower rhythm of life or maybe it is the way your heart softens here without even realizing it.

This is our second time returning to Zanzibar, but this retreat is not about revisiting a destination. It is about returning to yourself with greater intention, awareness, and presence.

This year’s theme is Living with Ihsan, embodying excellence in the sight of Allah in the way you live, move, think, worship, and become. Not perfection. But conscious living. A life rooted in sincerity, intentionality, and spiritual depth even in the unseen moments.

Over the course of this retreat, we will move through Zanzibar slowly and intentionally. Through quiet mornings, reflective conversations, halaqas, shared experiences, moments of rest, laughter, adventure, and stillness.

This is not about escaping life.

It is about reconnecting to it properly.

And then comes the  Safari…

A reminder of the vastness of Allah’s creation and the humility that comes with witnessing it. The safari is not simply an excursion; it is an experience that grounds you. One that reminds you how small you are, how expansive Allah’s creation is, and how deeply beauty and strength coexist in this dunya.

How to Secure Your Spot

  • A non-refundable deposit of $200 is required to hold your place. This will be deducted from your total balance
  • 40% of your payment must be made within one week of reserving your slot. If not, your spot will be rolled over to the next person on the waitlist
  • All payments must be completed by 15th October 2026
  • Refunds (excluding the deposit) are available until 30th October 2026. After this, the only option is to transfer your spot to someone else (T&C applies)
  • Payment plans are available, allowing you to split your payments into three instalments or even more it all depends on what works for you
