Polishing Season (Everyday Adab) is an intimate spiritual and self-development retreat for women seeking quiet refinement rather than dramatic change. Rooted in the practice of everyday adab, this Abuja retreat invites participants to gently polish the heart through guided sunrise halaqahs on the Names of Allah, reflective workshops, and intentional moments of rest. Set close enough to attend yet deep enough to transform, the experience blends spiritual grounding with nourishment, comfort, and restorative activities, creating space for both inner work and meaningful sisterhood — because while the work is personal, the journey is shared.

                                         What to Expect 

Day One: Arriving

    • We begin gently.
    • Arrival & Check-in
      Take your time settling in and getting comfortable.
    • Lunch 
    • Massage, Rest & Personal Time
      Unstructured time to rest after a welcome massage to transition you into the retreat vibe
    • Welcome Dinner & Opening Circle
      We come together for our first meal as a group — setting intentions, grounding ourselves, and easing into the days ahead

Day Two: Polishing the self

    • A day centred on gentleness, patience, and turning inward.
    • • Sunrise Halaqah
    • A soft start to the day, reflecting on a chosen name of Allah tying it into our theme. 
    • • Breakfast & Slow Morning
    • Time to eat, rest, and move at your own pace.
    • • 12:00pm – 3:00pm | Workshop & Crochet Circle
    • Workshop: Adab with the Self
    • We explore how we speak to ourselves, how we rest, and how intention shows up in our everyday habits.
    • This session flows into a quiet crochet circle — a simple, grounding practice that allows space for reflection and calm.
    • Evening | Poolside BBQ & Sister Time (7:00pm)
    • A relaxed evening of food, laughter, and easy connection

Day Three: Polishing our interactions 

    • A day focused on how we show up with others.
    • Sunrise Halaqah
      A chosen name of Allah and self reflection circle
    • Morning | Horseback Riding & Breakfast
      A shared outdoor experience followed by breakfast.
    • Rest & Free Time
      Space to nap, journal, or enjoy the surroundings.
    • 4:00pm | Workshop & Group Activities
      Workshop: Adab in Relationships
      A gentle conversation around communication, boundaries, expectations, and extending mercy — without losing ourselves.
      Group activities help bring these reflections into real, lived understanding.
    • 7:00pm | Dinner, Paint & Sip
      An evening of creativity, good food, and unhurried conversation.

Day Four: Carrying it forward

    • Closing with gratitude and intention.
      • Sunrise Halaqah & Gratitude Circle
      A final gathering to reflect, give thanks, and acknowledge the growth that’s taken place.

      Workshop: Adab with Allah in Daily Life
      We close by grounding everything we’ve explored — how to carry presence, sincerity, and good adab back into everyday life, long after the retreat ends.

5% For groups of 3 or more, and 50k off for full payment before 30th January,2026

How to secure your spot

  • A non-refundable deposit of ₦100,000 is required to hold your place. This will be deducted from your total balance
  • 40% of your payment must be made within one week of reserving your slot. If not, your spot will be rolled over to the next person on the waitlist.
  • All payments must be completed by 20th February 2025.
  • Refunds (minus the deposit) are available until 20th February 2025. After this, the only option is to transfer your spot to someone else (T&C applies)
  • Payment plans are available, allowing you to split your payments into three installments or even more it all depends on what works for you
