Along the Nile is a journey through Egypt’s ancient landscapes, rich history and living culture, designed not just to take you somewhere new, but to give you space to pause and think about the life you are building.

From Luxor to Aswan aboard the Nile, and onwards to Cairo, we’ll explore some of Egypt’s most remarkable places while making room for the quieter parts of the journey too, morning halaqas, evening conversations, prayer, journaling, chai on the deck, good food, sisterhood, wandering and unhurried moments.

Because sometimes, stepping into a place with thousands of years of history gives you a different perspective on your own life.

 

Luxor

Where the journey begins

We’ll arrive directly in Luxor, often described as one of the world’s greatest open-air museums.

Here, we’ll spend our first days walking through the remains of ancient Egypt and taking in the temples, tombs and landscapes that have stood for thousands of years.

Our Luxor experiences include:

  • Karnak Temple
  • Luxor Temple
  • Valley of the Kings
  • Exploring the ancient sites and landscapes of Luxor
  • Optional: Hot-air balloon ride over Luxor

Then, we head south.

The Nile

Three days of slowing down

The next part of the journey is deliberately different.

We board our Nile cruise and, for three days, the river becomes our moving home as we make our way from Luxor to Aswan.

There is nowhere we need to rush to.

Watch villages and landscapes pass by from the deck. Read a book. Journal. Have a conversation. Take a nap. Sit with a cup of chai. Pray. Or do absolutely nothing.

Along the way, we’ll stop to explore Edfu Temple, one of Egypt’s best-preserved ancient temples, and Kom Ombo Temple, a remarkable riverside temple with a history as fascinating as its setting.

Three days to move slowly, while still seeing so much.

Then, we head south.

Aswan

The journey continues south

In Aswan, we’ll experience the beauty and history of southern Egypt, with visits to:

  • Philae Temple
  • Aswan Dam

After disembarking from the Nile cruise, we’ll fly to Cairo for the final chapter of our journey.

Cairo

Ancient history, living culture

Cairo brings a completely different rhythm.

We’ll stand before the Pyramids of Giza, explore the historic heart of the city and spend time amongst its streets, architecture, mosques and centuries of Islamic history.

And then, we slow down again.

A DAY TO SIMPLY WANDER

One full day will be left completely open.

No group itinerary. No rushing from one sight to another. No feeling like you have to make every minute count.

Just Cairo, at your own pace.

Shop at the markets. Visit a mall. Find a café. Pick up souvenirs. Explore. Sleep in. Sit by the pool. Or stay at the hotel and do absolutely nothing.

Sometimes, an unplanned day is exactly what you need.

How to secure your spot for the retreat:

  • A non-refundable deposit of $200 is required to hold your place. This will be deducted from your total balance
  • 60% of your payment must be made by 30th November 2026. 
  • All payments must be completed by 1st January 2027.
  • Refunds (excluding the deposit) are available until 15th December 2026. After this, the only option is to transfer your spot to someone else (T&C applies).
  • Payment plans are available, allowing you to split your payments into three instalments or even more it all depends on what works for you
  • Spaces are limited to preserve intimacy, depth, and care.

  • Please note that the itinerary, hotel accommodations, and session topics are subject to change due to logistical or operational considerations. In the event of any changes, suitable alternatives of equal or comparable value will always be provided.
